Parish Hall

The Parish Hall is opposite St James' Church. It is available for hire; there are a variety of slots currently available and you can request further information or make a booking request through completing the forms in this section of the website.

Activities

The hall is used for a variety of purposes such as Pilates, Yoga, and Scottish Country dancing. There are cultural & heritage groups such as painting, handi-crafts and wreath making. You may even like to try joining the local history and RSPB wildlife groups, or why not try the local history group? Or perhaps you might like to go one better and begin your own regular meeting group!

Community events

The Parish Hall is also used once a month for community lunches which are free of charge and are always popular. The hall is also used by Christleton Parish council for their annual information events. The hall is also used by toddler groups and youth groups.

Electoral

The Parish Hall is also used as a Polling station.

Post 10.30am Sunday Services

The hall is used for fellowship, coffee & refreshments after the 10.30am Sunday morning worship. This usually lasts no more than an hour and 15 mins.

Hall facilities

The Parish hall has seating capacity for approximately 70. However, if you need precise figures for this please do check with our hall administrator.

Kitchen information

The hall has a fully fitted modern kitchen, with a large cooker, microwave and ample cupboard space. The kitchen can provide cutlery for about 70 people and has a Food Hygiene Rating of 5. The use of kitchen equipment is the hirer's responsibility.

Car parking

There is parking space around the back of the hall, be warned though it does fill up quickly.

Amenity Improvement

We have installed a new boiler and radiators. Additionally, we have also installed wi-fi. Recently, we have installed equipment which helps to reduce echoes in the hall. This sound improvement has proven to be very effective and the installation is completely unobtrusive. We are most thankful to the people who very kindly donated the funds to pay for this. Continued improvements to the amenities are all dependent on funding.
